Want It? Think It, See It, Achieve It!

If you’re involved in network marketing, you must have a ‘Why’. This is the reason or reasons you decided to start a business in this industry; money, freedom, success, time, etc. If you want to succeed, you need to consciously and unconsciously know what your ‘Why’ is.

What is your ‘Why’?

You shouldn’t have to stop and think about why you’re doing what you’re doing. The best way to burn your ‘Why’ into memory is to write it down and read it everyday, flooding your mind with thoughts of success and prosperity.

Take the next few minutes to pull out a sheet of paper, write ‘Why?’ and the top in big letters, and write down all of the reasons why you are trying to succeed in network marketing. Underneath your list, in big letters, write “How? Just Do It!” Then hang your piece of paper up near where you do most of your work. This will serve as a constant reminder of your ‘Why’ and what you need to do to achieve it, so the next time you’re putting off an important call you’ll get a good shove to “Just Do It!”

Know your ‘Why’ and don’t let yourself forget it!

My ‘Why’ was, and still is, to achieve complete freedom. I never want to work because I need to. I want to be able to do what I want, when I want. I never want to worry about money. I want a life that is based around my family and not my job. I want to be able to give my time and money to those in need. I want to help others achieve their ‘Why’.

To keep my ‘Why’ at the top of my conscious and subconscious mind, I have surrounded myself with subtle (some not so subtle) reminders of what I plan to achieve through my success. Try leaving a good motivational book or two on your coffee table. Hang up pictures of places you would like to go and things you would like to do. Make a ‘Dream Board’ filled with things that remind you of your ‘Why’ and hang it up by your desk. Doing things like this will create an environment that constantly bombards your subconscious with images of your dream life. You will be subconsciously more motivated to keep working hard to achieve what you want. Also, take some time each day to consciously look at the things you have hung up. Picture yourself as if you already have the things that you wrote down on your ‘Why’ sheet.

Constantly orienting your thoughts around success, consciously or unconsciously, will have a profound effect on your actions. Actions lead to results. Results lead to more action and more results, leading to success.

I Challenge You to Do This:

Go through the magazines on your bookshelf or look online for pictures of things you expect to have, do, or see in your future as a successful network marketing professional. Cut or print out the pictures and hang them up on a bulletin board near your desk. Print out some words in large font like ‘Success!’, ‘Six Figures’, ‘Just Do It’ or anything that will motivate you to keep going and hang these up on the bulletin board also. And over time, add more and more.

You mind think this sounds cheesy, but it works. You will always be reminded of your ‘Why’ which is the driving force behind your success.
